Expiry Time
The Expiry Time (Expire Time) is one of the most important features of DynAccess. Unlike other dynamic DNS services, we neutralize accounts where regular account updates have failed to occur.
Why Account Neutralization?
Your account is not deactivated, but neutralized i.e., configured with a neutral IP. This prevents any access to an incorrect server if your old dynamic IP is no longer valid.
The higher the plan, the more frequent the updates and the faster we detect disruptions:

What Happens Without Neutralization?
If your internet connection fails, the old IP remains registered in DNS without fast detection. Possible consequences:
| a) |
Emails cannot be delivered and are returned with an error message |
| b) |
Your old IP is reassigned emails end up with the wrong recipient with a "User unknown" message |
| c) |
Worst case: A third-party server accepts your emails business-critical data ends up in the wrong hands! |
Plan Recommendation
| In-house email server: |
at least HeartBeat A |
| VPN tunnels: |
Business A or higher |
| Server monitoring: |
HeartBeat plans (incl. SMS notification) |
Conclusion
It's not a bug it's a feature! With DynAccess, you update your account multiple times daily, even if your IP has not changed. If an update fails to occur, we detect the disruption and neutralize your account preventing access to incorrect servers.
